Y -- THOMAS BAY LTF FLOAT CONSTRUCTION SOL IFB-R10-02-97-04 DUE 091297 POC Contact Person,Patty Randrup(907-772-5804), Contracting Officer, Tamie Thompson(907-772-5823) This project is comprised of the following work; Design, fabrication, and construction of a floating segmented dock and walkway; furnishing and driving of 3 galvanized steel pipe piles to serve as anchors for the dock and float; fabrication and installation of an upland shore abutment for anchoring the float to the uplands; and construction of 335 ft. of access road including turnaround at float shore abutment to connect the float to the existing road system. The work site is locate adjacent to the Thomas Bay Log Transfer Facility, located near the southern end of Thomas Bay at the mouth of the Patterson River, on the Alaska mainland approximately 12 air miles north-northeast of Petersburg, Alaska. The project site is accessible by float plane or boat from Petersburg. Estimated price range is between $100,00 and $250,000. Telephone requests will not be honored.
