The tipping floor, for sorting waste, will be a 100-foot by 70-foot, 10-inch thick reinforced concrete slab, with a 16-foot high edge over which solid waste can be pushed into trailers for transport. In addition to the tipping floor, construction of the facility will include a prefabricated steel roof and sides; grading; approximately 5,000 square feet of concrete and 2,500 square yards of asphalt paving; approximately 600 feet of 18-inch and 24-inch diameter concrete storm drain; 1,000 feet of 2-inch water service line, 5,000-gallon septic tank to hold waste water from cleaning; electric service; storm drainage; and erosion control measures. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the "Business Oportunity Development Reform Act of 1988" (public Law 100-656).
