Exterior materials will be red brick veneer with aluminum framed window and/or aluminum storefront, concrete sidewalk paving patterns and landscaping. The main rectangular shape, running parallel to 57th street, houses the exam functions in a "Medical Mall" arrangement and features a two-story sloped roof with clerestory lighting over the main patient corridor. A shed roof covers a second rectangular projection which is parallel and to the west of the "Medical Mall" and houses the service functions such as delivery, storage, lockers, library and classrooms. Three rectangular gable-roof areas project east of the main portion of the building at a right angle. These projections house the Army National Guard administrative offices main waiting/reception area, and Air National Guard administrative offices. The center of these three is two-story containing the reception/waiting area. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. A non-refundable check of $140.00 made payable to the DFAS/ORFPV is required for each set of plans and specifications.
