There are a total of 24 buildings that may be ordered. Removal of existing items to include but is not limited to walls, floor and ceiling= coverings and finishes, electrical and lighting systems, windows, door systems, plumbing fixtures and related piping, heating system and ductwork, flooring systems and underlayment, and siding. Friable asbestos is not expected to be encountered, but in the event it is, it shall be removed by the Government. Materials will be encountered containing non friable asbestos and lead based paint. The buildings will be completely remodeled to include the above items/trades. Also, provide new Communication Distribution System, Automatic Fire Detection and Alarm System. The term of the contract will be for one year with a Government option to extend for one (1) option year. Magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. A 20% bid bond is required. The SIC code for this procurement is 1542 and the size standard is $17M.
