Z -- FOREST WIDE ROAD MAINTANENCE SOL 0908-97-35 DUE 082597 POC Barbara Ridley 618/253-7114 or Cynthia Morris 618/253-7114 Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, supervision, equipment and incidentals to perform road maintenance activities on USDA-Forest Service roads. Two separate road maintenance contracts will be awarded, one for the East Side and another for the West Side of the Shawnee National Forest. Work activities will include, but not be limited to, blading aggregate sufaced roads, hauling and spreading of aggregate as needed, and mowing/mechanized brushing of roads. Other maintenance activities will be performed as required (i.e., culvert replacement/repair, drainage ditch construction, debris clearing from bridges, etc.). The contract period will consist of the Base year and two Option years. The Base year will be from October 1997 to September 30, 1998. Option year one will be from October 1, 1998 to September 30, 1999. Option year two will be from October 1, 1999 to September 30, 2000. (0191)
