Z -- REMOVE EXISTING WINDOWS & INSTALL NEW WINDOWS, REMOVE FENCE, REPLACE EXISTING GATE TOP RAIL & HARDWARE AT USARC BOGALUSA, LA SOL DABT39-97-B-0036 DUE 082997 POC Ramon Rodriguez (405) 442-4315/3225 Furnish all required plant, labor, equipment, and materials to complete all work in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The work to be performed includes the following principal features: Remove and dispose of existing steel window units and provide and install new aluminum, insulated, thermal-break, duo-pane, gray tinted glazing, bronze, double hung windows. Remove any mini-blinds, blinds or curtains as required to install units. Remove existing air conditioner window unit and return to the government. Provide and install new mini-blinds on all windows except windows indentified "W-3A". Reinstall any removed curtains or other item removed during installation of new window units. Paint all metal trim, exterior metal sills and other exterior metal to match new window finishes. Repair all damaged interior surfaces or finishes as results of window unit installation. Windows shall be removed and installed the same day or temporary security boarding of facility is required under this project. Remove and dispose of existing fence fabric, tension bars, clamps, barbed wire, and top and bottom tension wires. Amount of fence removed per day is contingent upon installing new fabric at the close of each workday. Square, straighten and align existing post and bracing rods before providing and installing new 7' chain link fence fabric, tension bars, clamps, hardware, 3 strands of new barbed wire and new top and bottom tension wires. Remove and dispose of existing 20' double drive through gate and hardware. Provide and install new 20' double drive through gate with new 3 strand barbed wire top, brackets, 180 degree operating hinges and hardware. Removal and installation shall be completed in the same day. Remove and dispose of fence fabric and barbed wire on existing 4' walk-in gate and replace with new 7' chain link fence fabric and 3 strands of new barbed wire, brackets and hardware. Removal and installation shall be completed in the same day. New fence and gates, excluding roller gate shall be groundedas shown on grounding detail and notes. Only corner and gate posts ground rod locations are shown on drawing. However, ground rods shall be no more than 50 feet apart or evenly spaced at 50 foot interval between corner post of fence run. Existing 24' roller gate shall not have any work, except gate posts shall be grounded as detailed in Note 5. Site shall be cleaned daily and all debris, trash, materials removed and disposed of off-site at no additional cost to the government. All work shall be coordinated to meet building security requirements. The estimated issue date for this project is July 29, 1997. This project is unrestricted and ranges between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00, subject to the availability of funds. Copy of the bid package may be requested in writing. (0191)
