program encompasses 3 tasks, as follows: Establish optimum colorant
loading to be used in the manufacture of the 20MM Plastic Dummy
Cartridge. This task involves molding evaluation samples and 600 dummy
cartridges at various, specified weight percent of pigmentation. The
samples will be used to determine pigment loading for subsequent tasks.
Manufacture, inspect, test and deliver an initial production quantity
of 250,000 Plastic Dummy Cartridges in accordance with the supplied
government drawing, all associated drawings and specifications, and the
established colorant loading from Task 1. This task involves insert
molding toughened Nylon 6/6 over a stainless steel and carbon steel
headstem assembly. Manufacture, inspect and deliver 5,000 special,
Plastic Dummy cartridges which utilize a stainless steel/nickel
headstem insert, in place of the stainless steel/carbon steel headstem
utilized for Task 2. Period of Performance is expected to beten
