This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured by Ingersoll-Dresser Pump, as well as competitive items made in accordance with Government specifications/drawings. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 2 years. This is an un- restricted acquisition with a 10% preference for SDB concerns. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical date; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304 (c)(1). Approved Sources include Ingersoll-Dresser Pump. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within Federal Supply Class(es). While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based upon a combination of price and delivery and past performance as described in this solicitation.
