This solicitation is for the procurement of part-numbered items manufactured by Dresser-Rand Engine Process Compressor Division and all other sources. All NSNs are available for download under the "special download" menu item on the DSCC Electronic Bulletin Board(EBB). The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 4 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition with a 10% preference for SDB concerns. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Governement does not possess complete, unre- stricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved Sources include Dresser-Rand Engine Process Compressor Division. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within Federal Supply Class(es). While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based upon a combination of price and delivery and past performance as described in this solicitation.
