This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ No. 220-97-0021). The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 3663. The small business size standard is 750. This requirement is a total small business set aside. The Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) Center for Devices and Radiological Health has a requirement for a TypeDeko or equal Character Generator consisting of a base unit and accompanying system options as follows: 1) Deko-PPI or equal broadcast television character generator with 21" monitor. 2) Deko-MOT Motion Text Option 3) Deko-AUTO Automation Option 4) Deko-KBD Fast Action Option 5) PAINTER 4 Fractal Design Graphics Option and 6) Deko-PRLD Set-up, Installation & Instruction.
