Provide A/E Services for Project No. 506-97-110, Extend Chilled Water System, Buildings 22 and 28. Work includes but is not limited to, provide Architect/Engineer Services to provide construction documents for the extensions of the existing central chilled water system to Building 22 (Research) and Building 28 (Extended Care Center). The design shall produce two sets of construction documents which stand alone and may be bid separately. A/E shall complete all required design load calculations. A/E shall design chilled water piping extensions, air handler coil replacements, bypass piping, energy management and operation controls. Construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Qualifications submitted by each firm will be reviewed and evaluated based on the following criteria: 1) Team proposed for this project; 2) proposed management plan; 3) previous experience of team proposed for this project; 4) location and facilities of working office(s); 5) present proposed design approach for this project; 6) cost control; 7) estimating effectiveness; 8) schedule control; 9) describe your experience and capabilities; 10) miscellaneous: awards, circumstances, and outcome of any litigations involved within the last five years and type and amount of liability insurance. Interested firms located within a 100 mile radius the Medical Center are to submit SF 254, A/E and Related Services Questionnaire, and SF 255, A/E and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project, to this office by close of business August 8, 1997. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small emerging business. A small emerging business is defined as firms's average annual receipts over the past 3 years is less than $1.25 million. (0192)
