The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Battle Creek, Michigan intends to negotiate with Elscint, Inc., Hackensack, N.J., to provide service maintenance on CT Scanner with a continuous-on X-Ray system, high-density solid-state detector array and a fast parallel-architecture reconstruction/display computer. Equipment is located at the Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic, Grand Rapids, Michigan and is described as follows: Excel 2000 Sprint including Gantry and Patient Table, High Voltage Generator and Controller, graphite backed anode X-Ray tube, Operating and Processing Console, Advanced Computing and Display System, 380 MByte disk and Turbo Reconstruction/Display Processor.
