The project consists of dredging the Cape Henry Channel and the York
Spit Channel to a required depth of 51 feet and with 1-foot of
allowable overdepth. The Contractor shall place the dredged material
from the Cape Henry Channel in the Government-furnished Dam Neck
Dredged Material Management and the dredged material from the York Spit
Channel in the Government-furnished Wolf Trap Dredged Material
Management Area. The work involves dredging approximately 514,500 cubic
yards of material in the Cape Henry Channel and approximately 643,000
cubic yards of material in the York Spit Channel, including allowable
overdepth and estimated accretion. Magnitude of the project is between
$1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Duration of the project is 90 calendar
days. This is an Unrestricted Procurement. SIC 1629 applies.
