This is a construction contract for the Lake Wenatchee Ranger Station Roof Extension. Work includes furnish all materials and labor for modification of existing wood truss roof to provide cover over walkways between main office and trailer annex on the Lake Wenatchee Ranger Station compound. The project will include installation of truss joists over existing roof purline (to extend roof line), sheathing, and metal roofing; installation of tube steel columns and footings, reinforced concrete retaining walls, steel channel framework ramp with 1-1/2 inch formdeck and concrete topping slab. Alternate form of payment protection is required in the amount of 50 percent of the awarded contract amount. Estimated start work date is 9/22/97 with an estimated 45 calendar days for completion.
