Y -- LITTLE DELL PARK/ LITTLE DELL DAM, UTAH SOL DACW05-97-B-0068 DUE 082997 POC Contract Specialist Joyce Yuki (Site Code DACA05) Construction of a day use park that includes features for hiking, Mormon Trail and Historic Pony Express experience, picnicking, fishing, un-powered boating and sightseeing. The Park is to have accessibility facilities in accordance with the ADA Federal Guidelines. The primary features include: trails including shoreline access for fishing; shaded picnic tables; hand boat launches; lighted parking spaces; self-contained comfort station restrooms; pay phone, emergency phone, lighting; visitors information canopy. No water supply, or sewage disposal will be available. This project is currently being negotiated pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. Should negotiation be successful a solicitation from this advertisement will not be issued and a refund of monies will be made for the purchase of plans and specifications. Should negotiation be unsuccessful a solicitation will be issued to those prospective bidders who requested plans and specifications for this project. This procurement will be conducted under SIC code: 1629. The size standard for this SIC code is: $17.0 million. Large businesses competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 55.0% for small business, 8.5% for small disadvantaged business, and 3.0% for small business/woman-owned. A firm that submits a plan with lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted. Estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Plans and specifications for this project must be ordered and the check received by the CUT OFF DATE of 07/22/97 to ensure receipt of bid sets at a cost of $6.00 for specifications (text only); and $12.00 for full-size drawings. Half size drawings are not available. Orders received beyond the CUT OFF DATE will not be honored. Plans and specifications will be mailed out on or about 07/30/97. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced, copies are limited to one set per firm. Payment by company check, certified check or money order made payable to the Finance and Accounting Officer, USAED, Sacramento. Payment must be submitted with order request or delivered in person to USAED, Sacramento, ATTN: Plan Room, 1325 J Street, Sacramento, CA95814-2922.
