Slana (Site Code W31XNJ) The AIRCRAFT PARKING FACILITIES at Iquitos, Peru, provides for the construction of a rigid pavement taxiway, a rigid pavement apron, and miscellaneous site improvements to support operations of the Peruvian Air Force at the domestic airport in Iquitos. The main features of this project will consists of construction of a rigid pavement taxiway, approximately 150 meters in length, a rigid pavement apron with the capacity to moor two, C-130 aircraft, and site improvement as required, to construct said improvements. If awarded, Bid Option No. 1, Site electrical service, will also involve construction of a primary, 3-phase power line to the site, and the construction of a power building to house primary connections equipment for the electrical distribution system. If awarded, Bid Option No. 2., Taxiway and Apron Lighting, will involve the construction and installation of a taxiway and apron lighting system. If awarded, Bid Option No. 3, Perimeter Fence, will be to construct a perimeter fence with electricalconduit to facilitate the addition of future perimeter lighting. Bid documents are available on or about 29 July 1997. Estimated cost of work is between $1,000, 000 and $5,000,000.
