The Lowry Economic Redevelopment Authority (LRA) is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of sanitary sewer utility infrastructure. Location is the former Lowry Air Force Base, Denver, Colorado. Work includes installation of approx. 6,700 LF of PVC sanitary sewer, from 6" to 24" in diameter; also includes approx. 1,400 SY of roadway demolition and approx. 100 SY of roadway rebuild. Invitation for Bids Number (IFB#)10-SEWR-OUTF is for the LOWRY BUSINESS CENTER LOOP ROAD PROGRAM, SANITARY SEWER OUTFALL CONSTRUCTION PACKAGE. This project will be partially funded with Federal funds through the Economic Development Administration, U.S. Dept. of Commerce (EDA Project No. 05-49-02954), and will be subject to all Federal requirements and regulations. The work will be subject to the prevailing wage rates and to the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements established by the U.S. Dept. of Labor. The estimated price range of construction for this phase of the project is between $500,000.00 & $1 million. The time for completion of all work is ninety (90) days after official Notice to Proceed. Bid package (IFB) will be available at no charge on or about 07/21/97, with the closing date as stated in the IFB (o/a 08/12/97) DATES TENTATIVE AT THIS TIME. City & County of Denver Wastewater Management Division standards and specifications apply. Construction drawings and specifications will be available at the LRA offices at the above address; and at 4 Plans Rooms in the Denver/Front Range area. All prospective bidders are invited and encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference and site inspection visit scheduled for 9:00 a.m. 07/29/97 at the LRA offices.
