Purnell, (202) 767-7969/Mrs. Cleaver, (202) 767-8101 This project consist essentially of but is not limited to Repair Vavle and Switching at Heat Plant, Facility 18, which includes providing an Energy Management System (EMS) for control of secondary pumps in response to Base demand for high temperature hot water (HTHW). Provide a microprocessor-based Boiler Control system (BCS) including boiler controls, oxygen trim and flame safeguard Controls for three existing HTHW generators. Provide three (3) new ultrasonic or vortex shedding flow meters will replace existing flow meters in the zone room and replace two(2) Motor Control Centers (MCCs). Patch walls in exiting control room and provide new finishes and surfaces as required. Paint all interior surfaces of bricks, concrete walls, steel colunms, beams, etc. Remove existing concrete pads and patch existing slab where concrete pads have been removed. Provide new supplemental support steel for pipe hangers. The Standard Indusrial Code is 1541. Performance period is 360 calendar days. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is an unrestrictive procurement in accordance with The Small Business Competitive Demostration Program.
