58 -- DUAL BAND RADIOS SOL DEA-97-R-0026 DUE 093097 POC Connie Jones, Contract Specialist, (202) 307-7804 The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for the acquisition of dual band portable radios capable of operating on both the UHF and VHF bands. All radios purchased under this contract shall be completely interoperable/compatible with the existing DEA land mobile radio system consisting of Motorola mobile radios, portable radios, and fixed equipment. In addition the radios shall meet all Association of Public Safety Communications Officers (APCO) 25 Standards. The contemplated contract is a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (Research and Development) type contract. The period of performance is date of award through 365 days thereafter with four successive twelve month option periods -- The requests for solicitation must be in writing and addressed to the P.O.C. above.
