A -- PROTEIN SEPARATION AND PURIFICAITON PROCESS DESIGN AND ANALYSIS IN SUPPORT OF THE CYTOSENSOR PROGRAM SOL DAAM01-97-Q-0044 POC Tandee Carr (410)671-4398 The US Army Chemical Biological Defense Command intends to negotiate with EAI, Inc of Abingdon, Maryland for a new Firm Fixed Price Contract, for the development of a cost-optimized protein separation and purification process for manufacturing scale production of recombinant antibodies. The effort will support the Bioprocess Engineering Team in the development of process flow designs for scale-up production of biomaterials using bacterial fermentation and insect, fungal and mammalian cell culture. EAI is the only contractor who possesses the unique experience and expertise in developing optimized biomanufacturing process for recombinant enzymes, especially with regards to the separation, purification and packaging of the enzymes.
