On behalf of the Army Research Institute, Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to award a contract using competitive proposal procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. This acquisition is offered for competition to eligible small business concerns only. The designated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 8733, Research and Studies non-developmental. The United States Army Research Institute for the Behavioral and Social Sciences, (ARI) Occupational Analysis Office requires on-site contractor support on a full-time basis, working with government supplies, furnishings, equipment and materials. The work to be performed will support all facets of Occupational Analysis Office (OAO) of ARI to design, conduct, analyze and report occupational surveys of Army jobs. OAO re-engineered the process of surveying Army occupations by developing and fielding new Computer Assisted Survey (CAS) technologies. Repeat business from users has surged, and all future Army occupational surveys are likely to be CAS. That work is the subject to this contract. The contract will include a base year for a twelve month period and four (4) possible options for twelve month periods each. This is a small business set-aside.
