L -- NUCLEAR TEST PERSONNEL REVIEW (NTPR) SUPPORT SOL DNA001-95-C-0133 POC Jennifer Bertuna, negotiator, (703) 325-9368, Edward L. Archer, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-5028. This effort is a sole source modification to the NTPR contract which requires Jaycor to assess vital and crucial records within the NTPR program's holdings and implement a preservation plan to maintain back-up record copies. Jaycor will be required to reduce and maintain NTPR pending correspondence at as low levels as possible and to update and prepare NTPR fact sheets to include DOE-released information. Jaycor is the chosen source for this effort because Jaycor has the subject matter experts on the content materials in the NTPR records and files. The assessment of the records and files requires the direct application of subject matter expertise to identify which records/files should be preserved as back-up copies and which can still be obtained from primary sources or other nationally maintained repositories. Jaycor has unique knowledge of outside record holdings from past contracts to facilitate the performance of these assessments. If this effort were to be competed, the contractor would still haveto rely heavily on the Jaycor subject matter expertise and learning in order to formulate preservation plans which would best meet the needs of backing up vital documents for access by NTPR program researchers.
