R -- PROFESSIONAL SERVICES SOL 67-7-53 POC Linda Catterton (301)457-1866 The Bureau of the Census intends to award a sole source contract to: Alvis Pauga, 580 Kiowa Drive, Franklin Lake, NJ for the following technical assistance: Develop a detailed marketing plan for the Automated Export System(AES) with specific goals to assess current marketing efforts, assess trade community participation, conduct one-on-one company visits to complete assessment, develop a marketing strategy, develop marketing goals, performance measures, and a time schedule to complete these, incorporate the strategy, goals, and schedule into a complete, documented marketing plan, and based on information gathered in the course of marketing assessments, provide recommendations to improve the actual procedures of the AES program. The Automated Export System is a joint venture between the U.S. Customs Service, the Bureau of the Census, other Federal agencies, and the export trade community. The contractor will work with Customs and Census employees to implement the marketing plan through a cooperative effort. Sources who can provide the above services shall submit their capabilities and a written quotation, no later than 15 days from the published date of this announcement, to the above address.
