The tipping floor, for sorting waste, will be a 100-foot by 70-foot, 10-inch thick reinforced concrete slab, with a 16-foot high edge over which solid waste can be pushed into trailers for transport. In addition to the tipping floor, construction of the facility will include a prefabricated steel roof and sides; grading; approximately 5,000 square feet of concrete and 2,500 square yards of asphalt paving; approximately 600 feet of 18-inch and 24-inch diameter concrete storm drain; 1,000 feet of 2-inch water service line; 5,000-gallon septic tank to hold waste water from cleaning; electric service; storm drainage; and erosion control measures. Network Analysis System will be required. Estimated cost range of project is from $250,000 to $500,000. Solicitation documents will be available July 31, 1997 (approx.).
