The work includes the renovation of approximately 6,000 square feet of existing facilities, consisting of providing a new entrance hallway from the main SFSPAC building to the interior of MPITC, enlarging the existing Auditorium to accommodate 113 personnel, enlarging the existing toilet facilities to meet current accessibility standards, providing an additional Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (S.C.I.F.) and relocating other support offices, and incidental related work. Gypsum board on metal stud framing with sound attenuation batts will be used typically. The floors will be carpeted and the walls painted. Remodeled rooms will receive new acoustical lay-in ceilings. The Auditorium will be furnished with tablet arm theater chairs on a raised wood platform. The toilet rooms will receive new thinset ceramic tile floors and organic adhesive applied wainscot walls. The existing HVAC system will be modifiedto accommodate partition changes. This is a firm fixed price contract. Potential bidders must request IFB N62474-97-B-2457 in writing. A Fax is acceptable.
