ALBANS EXTENDED CARE CENTER SOL IFB 527-27-97 DUE 090397 POC Jo Ann Petrillo, Contract Specialist, Telephone 718 630 3566 Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to replace the roof on the laundry Building 89, at the Veterans Administration St. Albans Extended Care Center located in St. Albans, Queens, New York. The work includes removal of existing roof, asbestos removal and installation of new E.P.D.M. fully adhered roofing system with taped insulation. The roof area is approximately 43,000sf. The contractor shall provide a 10 year roof warranty. The completion period shall be 90 calendar days. This procurement is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The construction cost is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The applicable SICC is 1761 for which the small business size standard is $7 Million average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years. There will be a one time pre bid meeting at St. Albans on Thursday, August 14, 1997. Details are included in the bid documents.
