This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposal and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 1PI-R-0817-97 is issued as a Request For Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The following are the specifications for Line Item 0001, UNICOR P/N: LBR2067 Lumber. Softwood, 2"X4"X10", Length, Grade: 3Common. Softwood to be in compliance with the American National Grading Rule for Softwood Dimension Lumber, PS 20-94 for #3 Common. Estimated Qty:400,000 BF. Unit of Issue: Board Feet(BF), Minimum delivery order size: 6,000 BF, Maximum order size: 40,000 BF. Variation in quantity (+) plus or (-) minus 10%. Delivery point F.O.B. Destination Federal Correctional Institution, Ashland, KY. The period of performance is date of award through two years thereafter. Delivery acceptance is 30 days after receipt of each delivery order. The provision at 52.212-2, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
