USAYPG has a requirement for Communications Outside Plant Multiple Award Task Order (MATO) Contracts in support of USAYPG, Yuma, Arizona which will encompass work on military installations in the desert southwest. Each MATO will run for a period of 5 years. The estimated value of all task orders awarded ranges from $5-$15 million over the 5-year period. Work shall consist of providing all supervision, plant, materials, and labor for outside plant construction services to expand and modernize military telecommunication infrastructures. The temperatures in the desert southwest range from 65-115 degrees F with an average summer temperature of 102 degrees F. Soil conditions range from bare, steep, bedrock mountain blocks, gravel, and sand plains with elevations ranging from 200-2778 feet and cover a 1,400 square-mile area of the Sonora Desert. Task orders will be negotiated between the successful MATO contractors; however, the government reserves the right to award task orders without competition when circumstances warrant. This action is a 100% small business set-aside under SIC code 3669 for small businesses w/750 employees or less.
