63 -- REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF CLOSED CAPTIONED TELEVISION AND INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM SOL DEA-97-R-0023 DUE 072997 POC Michelle Reeves, Contract Specialist, (202) 307-7816 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented in accordance with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a sole source acquisition to Wells Fargo Security Products, 5510 Cherokee Avenue, Suite 120, Alexandria, Va. 22312. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written offer is being requested only from Wells Fargo. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DEA-97-R-0023 and is being issued as a Request for Proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 90-47. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7382 and the small business size standard is 9.0 million. The contract Line Item Number (CLIN) items, quantities, and unit prices = total cost. Period of Performance: Base Period -- Date of Contract Award through 365 Days thereafter: CLIN 0001: Repair of CCTV and Intrusion Detection System to ensure working condition in accordance with manufacture specification standard. CLIN 0002 Preventive Maintenance, 12 months. Period of Performance: Option Period I -- Expiration of Base Period 365 days thereafter: CLIN 1001 Preventive Maintenance, 12 months. Period of Performance : Option Period II -- Expiration of Option Period I 365 days thereafter, CLIN 2001 Preventive Maintenance 12 months. Period of Performance -- Option Period III -- Expiration of Option Period II 365 days thereafter, CLIN 3001 Preventive Maintenance 12 months. Period of Performance -- Option Period IV -- Expiration of Option Period III 365 days thereafter, CLIN 4001, Preventive Maintenance 12 months. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, parts, material, transportation and incidentals necessary to repair the Drug Enforcement Administration's Closed Captioned Television and Intrusion Detection Systems located at the DEA, New York Field Office. Upon completion of necessary repairs to ensure that the CCTV and Intrusion Detection System is in working condition in accordance with manufacture specification standards, the contractor shall be responsible for all labor, tools, equipment, parts, material, transportation and incidentals necessary for preventive, routine, and remedial maintenance for the CCTV and Intrusion Detection System. The contractor shall be responsible for inspections, testing adjustments, and cleaning of the CCTV and Intrusion Detection Systems as deemed necessary to ensure working condition. The provisions at 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Item" are applicable, 52.212-3 "Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items clause 52.212-4 "Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items", the clause 52.212-5 "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
