POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT. THE USCG ELC IS SEEKING QUALIFIED SOURCES
THAT CAN PROVIDE INFORMATION PERTAINING TO ANEMOMETERS. INTERESTED
PARTIES SHALL PROVIDE INFORMATION ON ANEMOMETERS THAT CAN MEET OR
EXCEED THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION. THE DELECTED SYSTEM SHALL BE A FULLY
SOLID-STATE WIND SPEED AND DIRECTION MEASURMENT SYSTEM DESIGNED TO
OPERATE IN AN ARCTIC ENVIRONMENT. SYSTEM SHALL HAVE TWO (2) STATIC
ANEMOMETER (PORT/STARBOARD) WITH INTEGRAL HEATERS. SYSTEM SHALL
DIGITALLY TRANSMIT WIND DATA, VIA AN INTERFACE UNIT TO AT LEAST ONE
DIGITALLY REPEATER. CONVERSION OG DIGITAL SIGNAL TO SYNCHRO SHALL BE
MADE EITHER AT THE INTERFACE OR VIA EXTERNAL CONVERTER WITH SUFFICIENT
POWER LEVEL TO DRIVE UP TO EIGHT SIZE 18TRX6 SYNCHROS. THE REPLACEMENT
ANEMOMETER WILL BE UTILIZED ON THE 400' WAGB ICEBREAKERS. THE FOLLOWING
INFORMATION IS REQUESTED AS PART OF OUR MARKET RESEARCH IN DETERMINING
IF THERE IS A COMMERCIAL ITEM AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET PLACE THAT WILL
FULFIL THE GOVERNMENT'S NEED, AND TO DETERMINE THE BESTAPPROACH FOR
PRESUMING A REPLACEMENT ANEMOMETER. THEREFORE, INTERESTED PARTIES ARE

IDENTIFIED, SUPPORT AVAILABLE, SPECIFICALLY PARTS, REPAIR LEADTIME,
SERVICE CONTRACTS, AND END-ITEM REPLACEMENT. ALSO, STATE YOUR
CAPABILITY OF PROVIDING SPTD FOR THE MODEL(S) IDENTIFIED. ORGANIZATIONS
