The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Litton Systems, Inc., Woodland Hills, CA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-97-DJH-0177. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-46. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A J&A for Other than Full and Open Competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement shall cover the following: Non-recurring Engineering and Analysis required for system verification and integration in support of procurement of the Replacement Inertial Navigation Unit (RINU/LN100) Computers to include: Engineering Project Office, Systems Engineering, Design Reviews, Software Review, Integration/ Testing/ Verification/ Validation and Data. This procurement shall also cover a 9000 hour/ 15-year warranty for the Inertial Navigation Computers. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received by July 23, 1997 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
