74 -- MAINTENANCE OF NCR COMTEN FEP HARDWARE SOL DMCUMT98MP00001 DUE 073097 POC Karen Kincaid/(618) 256-9707; Darlene Cutler/(618) 256-9697 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to issue a purchase order to NCR Corporation, 2 Choke Cherry Road, Rockville, MD 20850-4030 for continued maintenance of NCR COMTEN Front End Processors located at the Defense Megacenter Oklahoma City. Maintenance will be provided during the period 01 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with two-hour response. The hardware is no longer in production which limits the availability of replacement parts and the technical expertise to the OEM. Maintenance is therefore being acquired using other than full and open competition under the authority of 40 USC 759(g), Specific Make and Model. See Numbered Note 22. (0196)
