Tarr, 202-395-7666 The Executive Office of the President, Office of Administration, requires the services of a vendor to electronically distribute press releases, transcripts, Presidential proclamations and other documents issued by the White House Press Office. The contractor will be required to distribute the full text of the documents in electronic, wire-service form to the following: all major media magazines, television, radio, specialty and foreign presses; computer bulletin boards; commercial database services such as Nexis, DataTimes, and NewsNet; commercial information systems, such as DeskTop Data, Mainstream Newscast, Comtex, and Bloomberg; and federal government on-line systems such as the U.S. Senate Computer Center, the U.S. House of Representatives Information System. Contractor will be required to set up a fax-on-demand system for media and public use. Contractor must be able to transmit to the White House computer system reports on the network evening news shows and copies of any documents issued by the Office of Media Affairs.
