DAY II The primary objectives of this meeting are to update industry on
the new US Air Force initiative of Distributed Mission Training and to
continue discussions related to technological advances in
visualization, long haul networking, and modeling and simulation
architectures. US Air Force presentations will include discussions of
major command flight simulator requirements and new contracting
initiatives. Industry briefings will focus on "out of the box thinking"
and state of the art in simulator design. Special emphasis will be
placed on wide area networking technologies. The program is intended
for industry and government/ military executives, strategic planners,
and senior technical management. July 28-29, 1997, Dayton Marriott
