The work includes the providing all labor, transportation, supervision, material, and equipment necessary for performing all operations in connection with the repairing of replacing all damaged exterior wood surfaces, preparing and painting all exterior wood surfaces, meetal handrails and lintels at the designated housing units. Existing exterior paint is lead based. This is an unrestricted solicitation subject to the evaluation critria contained in DFARS 252.219-7008. Estimated cost range: $100,000 to $250,000. The applicable SIC and siz standared is 1721 painting and paper hanging and 7.0 million. Bidders intrested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project must submit their request with a company check, certified cashier's check, or money order in the amount of $9.00 to: Defense Automated Printing Service (DAPS), BOX 40, BUILDING 83, NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE NEW LONDON GROTON, CT 06340-5040. Each check must be made payable to the U.S. Treasury and annotated with the applicable solicitation number. Two sets plans and specifications will be sent via First Class U.S. mail upon availabilility to those contractors who have rendered payment. Checks not made payable to U.S. Treasury, or not annotated with the solicitation number will be returned unprocessed. No personal checks will be accepted.
