Cancer Institute intends to enter into an agreement with Labor
Protection Institute Yunnan Tin Corp., Gejiu Yunnan Province, China to
study population for the development of a biological specimen bank for
the study of early markers of lung cancer in YTC miners considered to
be a high risk for lung cancer based on their occupation exposure (40+
years old with 10+ years of underground or smelting experience). It is
the Governments belief that YTC is the only source with a high-risk
group of over 7,000 with annual lung cancer screening program for the
past 20+ years. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals.
However, organzations who believe they can meet this requirement may
submit a proposal with all evaluative materials needed to make an award
