Taylor, Jr., Contracting Officer, 205-876-7500, Synopsis Number R164-97. The U.S. Army Missile Command announces the issuing of a modification to contract DAAH01-95-C-R156 with Litton Systems. This effort will provide for enhancement of Litton's Global Positioning System (GPS) Guidance Package (GGP) being procured under the cited contract to ensure it can use newly developed or developing GSP capabilities. The enhancements to Litton's design under this action include design and incorporation of direct P(Y) signal acquisition by the GGP miniature GPS receiver (MGR), and design and incorporation of a differential GPS capability.
