The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, National Tracing Center (NTC) requires contractor supplied support services to convert documents to microfilm and to images and to prepare automated indexes. The services for this contract will be performed a the NTC facility at Falling Waters, WV. This acquisition shall be awarded on the basis of competition limited to eligible 8(a) firms only. An indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contract will be used. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the services required is 7375. REQUIREMENTS: Services will include but not limited to the following: 1) receiving records, 2) preparing documents for filming, 3) microfilming, 4) image scanning, 5) compact disk and film processing, 6) document-control, 7) duplication and indexing, 8) indexing the imaged data-base, 9) verifying the images against registration and transfer records, 10) providing data-entry services to the Out-of-Business Records Section for tracing support functions, indexing and tracking services, and 11) developing, installing and supporting various data-bases and data-entry systems on the NTC local area networks. Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will have a period of performance of 60 months (one base year and four-one year option periods).
