SOL WAS7-1580 DUE 081897 POC Randall Brown, (voice) (206) 526-6226/FAX (206) 527-5848 NOAA requires an engineering firm to conduct geological and structural engineering studies of cliffs adjacent to the Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC) in La Jolla, CA. Subject cliffs show signs of subsidence believed to be due to the heavy rains in 2/97 and 3/97. Purpose of contract is to provide a Geological & Structural Engineering Evaluation on cliff subsidence to the SWFSC complex in La Jolla. Contractor shall review all Government-furnished information, perform a thorough literature search and analysis on all pertinent documents, conduct geological, geotechnical, and structural evaluations, and provide a draft and final engineering evaluation and recommendations to mitigate/eliminate any risks to the SWFSC complex. Interested sources responding to this notice are requested to state if small business (<$2.5 million/yr). This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
