The U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency (ACDA) intends to award a sole-source contract to The MITRE Corporation, Washington Group, McLean, VA for an effort entitled: "Coordination of Arms Control and Nonproliferation Research and Development (R&D) Support." In performance of this effort, the contractor shall provide support to the Nonproliferation and Arms Control Technology Working Group (NPAC TWG) in the areas of technical expertise, (including an understanding of critical R&D efforts and multifaceted and technically complex arms control and nonproliferation programs), administrative and policy expertise (including a working knowledge of government budgetary information, the interagency processes in arms control and nonproliferation, and policy objective on NPAC TWG). Special access Top Secret clearances are required. It is anticipated that approximately one-person year of effort will be required for the base year and each of the four option years.
