Delivery: ASAP. The existing air scrubber system is a permitted structure with the UDEQ in compliance with Title V of the Clean Air Act. Any changes to the air scrubber system outside of the original design requires a change in the permit. MAPCO designed and constructed the original system, therefore, modifying the mesh pad will not require a change in the permit. MAPCO has installed the modified mesh pad on one scrubber already and it is reasonable and advantageous to the Government to allow them to proceed with additional modifications without having to relearn the process. This is a proprietary process by the original manufacturer. The approximate issue/response date will be 05 Aug 97. The anticipated award date will be 15 Sep 97.
