The Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman, Florida intends to award a non-personal services contracts to provide Parenting Program services, to the inmates incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman, Florida. The contract period will include a base year (date of award through Sept. 30, 1998) with four (4) one year option periods for renewal. The estimated issue date of the Request for Quote 452-0035 will be July 18, 1997, with anticipated return date of August 15, 1997. The work schedule will normally consist of twenty-four sessions per week, a session defined as one hour, not to exceed twenty-four hours per week. The schedule will be determined the Supervisor of Education or their designee. The Contractor shall provide structured parenting education courses to inmates and parents and, when feasible, to visiting spouses of custodial parents. The Contractor shall also provide programs which covers the following: Skills for Family Support; Family Literacy Education; Substance Abuse Education; and Prenatal Care for Expectant Mothers. The Contractor may provide appropriate education- oriented toy, books, other materials, and activities designed to establish and strengthen positive family parenting relationships. This is a 100% small business set-aside solicitation.
