equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to accomplish watershed
restoration on 1.9 miles of M-8, M-Spur, and M-Line roads and
associated hillslopes in Redwood National Park, Humboldt County,
California. Work involves excavation of 80,000 cubic yards of road
fill, 1 stream crossing, and 1 skid road crossing, for the purpose of
watershed and ecosystem restoration. Natural landforms are to be
restored, and buried topsoil and stream channels uncovered. Estimated
price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Project duration is 30
days. Work is to begin mid-September and is to be completed this fall,
before the onset of winter rains. A limited number of solicitation
packages are available on a first-come, first-served basis until the
supply is exhausted. There will be no charge for the solicitation
package, however only one copy will be furnished to each requesting
party. Planholders list will not be faxed. Interested parties should
request a solicitation package in writing from the Contracting Office
at Sequoia National Park or fax it to 209-565-3700. Telephone requests
