Repair approximately 12,600 linear feet of 21 inch vitrified clay industrial waste and sewer line using insitu inversion lining techniques. Repair approximately 2,800 linear feet of vitrified clay lateral lines ranging in size from 27 to 4 inches using mostly inversion lining. Manhole repair, limited to point repairs, and restoration of ground cover and paving disturbed by construction activities is also required. Two lift stations shall be replaced and a new flow meter shall be installed. Contaminated soil disturbed by construction activities must be disposed of in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The plans and specifications have been placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through either 3.5" diskette, CD ROM, and/or the Internet. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of CD ROM and the internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Estimated Cost Range: $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Solicitation to be issued on or about 20 August 1997. Proposals are due on or about 19 September 1997. Duration of contract is 360 days. If a large business firm intends to submit a proposal, it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan.
