Material to be used on edges Oak veneer plywood panels: Oak edgeband. 2. Section 01010, Part I, Par 1.2.A.3. The BC is a inch smooth grade plywood which shall be used for the interior shelving and the bracing to support the shelving. The interior shelving and bracing will not be Oak veneer, only the exterior portion of the cabinet will be Oak veneer. 3. Section 06500, Part II, Par 2.3.2. Delete Stanely #45 -- US28. Use standard commercial grade catches in brass finish. 4. Section 06500, Part II, Par 2.3.3. Delete Stanley #4483 -- US26D. Use standard commercial grade pulls in brass finish. 5. Section 06500, Part II, Para 2.2: Countertop shall be constructed from inch plywood for the countertop and 4 inch backsplash with the laminate applied over the plywood. 6. Section 06500, Part II, Para Par 2.3: 1 inch galvanized steel rod shall be supported with metal support brackets installed on both endsand installed to the cabinet body. 7 Section 001010, Part I, Para 1.2.A.13: Master lock #702 for the hasp can be used. Change to use Master lock #702 for the hasp on the cabinets. 8. Section 06500, Part II, Para 2.Delete the acid resistant laminate specified, standard grade laminate product shall be used such as formica, or wilsonart attached to the countertop. 9. Section 6500-2, Para 2.7.1: The satin is the stain color which shall be applied to the cabinets, and there shall be two coats of polyurethane applied as stated in section 6500-2, paragraph 2.7.1. The coats of polyurethane shall be sprayed onto cabinets. Varnish shall not be used on the cabinets. Transparent is a clear finish such as polyurethane. 10. The solicitation number on Amendment 1 in block 9A as reads F090606-97-B0021 is changed to read F09607-97-B0021. 11. The bid opening dates is extended to 5 AUG 97. (0197)
