NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has a requirement for a contractor to complete necessary information-gathering and analysis of data on anadromous salmon species that will allow NMFS to make the necessary findings under NEPA and RegFlex associated with its adoption of Section 4(d) rules and Section 9 of the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The Government intends to award an ID/IQ contract, requiring a maximum of 80 environmental and economic assessments including river basins in California, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Reports shall be due 60 after completion of each task order. The period of performance is from the date of contract award through September 30, 1998, with an option for an additional one-year option period. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. (0198)
