HUD requires the services of a contractor to perform various important tasks which include the following: responding to requests for studies, special analyses, surveys and reviews covering a wide variety of financial analytical topics; developing measures which can be used to assess the performance of a given financial or market function; proposing, managing and executing insurance product development plans; planning, developing and executing portions of, or entire, asset sales strategies and transactions for real estate, loans, securities and related HUD assets; providing training and technical assistance to increase the financial analytical capacity within the HUD staff; providing expert advice on budget accounting matters; and providing the customary and usual services of a contractor in performing the scope of work. The contract will have a base period of one year. In addition, HUD will have the option to extend the period for four additional years. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 4, 1997. Offerors may submit a written request for a copy of the solicitation and may download a copy of the solicitation from HUD's Internet Home Page.
