The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to modify the west and south loading docks at the Central Supply Warehouse, Building No. M6-744 in the Industrial Area at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Funds are not presently certified for this procurement, and award of this project will be contingent upon the availability of funds. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1541. The corresponding size standard is 17.0 million. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 7/22/97 with an anticipated offer closing date of on orabout 8/22/97. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Drawings will be available from the identified point of contact. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in ASCII or RTF format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
