Request for Quotation to meet training requirements for Powerbuilder
computer software courses. The following requirements are applicable:
(1) There will be up to 16 students per class. (2) The training
provided must be the same as or equal to the following Powersoft
courses named. The first training course shall be item number one (1):
"Building Object-Oriented Applications in Powerbuilder" and shall be
taught on or about 08/25/97 and on or about 09/22/97. The second
training course shall be item number two (2): "Building with
PowerBuilder Foundation Classes" and shall be taught on or about
08/28/97 and on or about 09/25/97. The third training course shall be
item number three (3): "Designing and Implementing a GUI" and shall be
taught on or about 09/03/97 and on or about 10/06/97. The fourth
training course shall be item four (4): "Transition to Powerbuilder
Environment" and shall be taught on or about 09/08/97. The fifth
training course shall be item number five (5): "Fast Track to
Powerbuilder" and shall be taught on or about 09/09/97. The sixth
training course shall be item number six (6): "Data Modeling with
PowerDesignor" and shall be taught on or about 09/29/97 and on or about
10/09/97. (3) To be considered responsive, the offeror must be capable
of providing knowledgeable and experienced instruction in all of the
areas of expertise specified. (4) All instructors to teach these
courses must be permanent employees having resident teaching
responsibilities. They must be experienced in the use of the software
tools and employ proven teaching techniques using real world scenarios.
(5) Responses must include a detailed training curriculum and
corresponding cost. (6) After contract award, the training must be
available for scheduling no later than August 20, 1997. (7) The offeror
must provide training facilities that are fully equipped to include
individual workstations for every student. These workstations should,
at a minimum, contain independent course software, training aids, case
projects,and student documentation. (8) The training facilities must
be located within a fifteen (15) mile radius of the USDA 8930 Ward
Parkway, Kansas City, MO complex, be air conditioned, and provide
onsite parking. This acquisition will be a 100% Small Business Set
Aside under the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 8243. RFQ will be
available on or about 08/01/97. Written requests should be submitted
