B -- SYSTEMS ENGINEERING SERVICES SOL N68936-95-G-0041 DUE 090197 POC Ken Berry, Contract Specialist, Code 210000E, (805) 989-7003 The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), Point Mugu, CA intends to enter into negotiations and issue a cost reimbursement delivery order under a Basic Ordering Agreement,on a sole source basis to Hughes Aircraft Company (HAC) Radar Systems Group, Los Angeles, CA 90009. The effort is to provide engineering support to resolve problems affecting operation of the AWG-9 and APG-71 systems on F-14 aircraft. Initial investigations will concentrate on the AWG-9 Radar Master Oscillator which is causing operational degradation of the AWG-9 system. The effort will include technical analysis and resolution of the frequency drift problem limited to enhancing the current design. Services include engineering design and prototype, engineering support for test and analysis of test results, and engineering data. Deliverables will be engineering reports, technical data, drawings, software and hardware configuration data. The period of performance for the resulting delivery order will be one year from date of award. HAC is the designer and developer with the required technical and engineering expertise and the manufacturing data packages for the AWG-9 and APG-71 systems.
